Who are we?

You may have met us already at our coffee cart at 699 River road, but if you haven't, we are Heather (left) and Ange (right) and we are the faces behind Heat & Anger.

We are based in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton) Heather is a Coffee Machine Repair Technician and Ange is a Chartered Accountant. We met in the coffee industry and instantly knew that we were going to be great friends. 

We ended up going in different directions for a brief amount of time when Ange decided she wanted a change of scenery and Heather started a new job in a sales role, but we decided very quickly that we missed working in the coffee industry (and with each other too much) so we bought ourselves a little coffee roaster, some bags of green beans and got to work.

Having worked in the industry together, we have seen what works and where there is room for improvement so we know that we can provide our customers with great coffee, reliable equipment and on-going servicing and support.

We are super proud of what we have already achieved in such a small amount of time and we are stoked to be meeting so many great customers- whether that's our regulars who come to our cart every morning or the small businesses like ours who serve our coffee. We are also proud members of the New Zealand Specialty Coffee Association.
