Heat & Anger's Coffee Cart

About our cart:
Our cart was specifically designed and hand built by us (or more accurately - Heather's husband) to be the showroom for the equipment we sell and to get people trying our beans.
We wanted something that would stand out and reflect our brand and we think we nailed it.
As a coffee technician, Heather had a pretty good idea of what the ideal cart fit-out should be, so together with Ange's input and Guy's slick cart design, we were able to create a beautifully hand crafted cart with a very user friendly layout. To top it off, we are stoked to have our cart kitted out with an epic Rancilio espresso machine and grinder. Dreamy.
Order in advance:
We want to be able to serve you your coffee pronto as we know everyone has busy lives! So we offer the option of you messaging your order in advance to our cart phone, so that we can have it ready for pick up when it suits you best. Our cart phone is 027 375 6861 - just include your name, the order and what time you want it. Easy! We don't mind if it is an order just for one coffee or ten :-)
Cart sustainability:
We are all about trying to reduce our environmental footprint wherever possible. This means trying to source as many local products as we can to use in our cart.
Some examples of what we use in our cart:
- All of our coffee cups are NZ made and commercially compostable.
- Our cold cups are NZ made from PET1 which is recyclable in curbside household recycling in all local councils across NZ (including Kirikiriroa/Hamilton).
- We use Cameo Syrups which is made in Hawkes Bay.
- We use West Coast Cocoa in all of our hot and iced chocolate drinks (and mochas), which is made in New Plymouth.
- We use Dreamview creamery A2 Pasteurised milk which is produced in Raglan and delivered to our door in glass bottles.
Another way we are able to reduce our environmental foot print is that when our cart is parked in it's usual location at 699 River Road, we run it on solar
Community:
We have a "pay it forward" board next to our coffee cart where people can choose to donate $3 (and we will top up the rest) to provide anyone who visits our cart with a free coffee if they need it. This isn't just for people who are strapped for cash, anyone who needs a pick me up is welcome to use one.
